Thai Yoga Massage (Back to Top)

Thai Yoga Massage combines passive yoga-like stretching with gentle pressure along your body’s natural energy lines to increase flexibility, relieve muscle tension, and enhance your overall well-being.  The session is performed on a special mat on the floor, leaving you with a deeply nourished, relaxed and energized feeling.  Be sure to wear comfortable clothing that will allow for a full range of motion during the stretches.



Pregnancy Massage (Back to Top)

Thai Pregnancy Massage is a form of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women.  Pregnancy is a time in which a woman’s body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical, mental, and emotional changes.  Using various techniques specifically for the new mother, Pregnancy Massage helps alleviate discomforts experienced throughout the pregnancy.  The benefits are profound, including emotional support, the reduction of joint pain due to extra weight and postural imbalance, improved breathing and relaxation, and relief from uncomfortable digestive issues.

Kundalini Yoga (Back to Top)

Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that awakens awareness.

It uses sets of yogic postures and movements (asana) with meditative focus, breath work (pranayama), and chanting (mantra). In addition to strengthening the health and well-being of the physical body, it is very useful for emotional balance, mental clarity, stress relief, and personal transformation.

Kundalini Yoga is the original and most powerful system of yoga. It can be practiced by anyone if it is done according to instructions and within the tradition in which it was originally taught.

The word "Kundalini" means awareness. In yogic tradition, Kundalini is the latent spiritual energy at the base of the spine within every person that can be awakened by the practice of yoga.

Kundalini Yoga of Sound classes use mantra, movement, meditation, and music to produce transformation and relaxation. A meditation or movement with mantra is also part of the class. Every class ends with the yoga anthem "The Long Time Sun".

Hatha is a classic approach to yoga that emphasizes physical detail and focus. This is an accessible way to learn the basic postures and breathing techniques of yoga while restoring your energy, strength and flexibility. A great class for beginner and intermediate students and a great way to experience life, with your body, soul and mind. Private and public classes available. As my training is varied and always continuing my classes may incoproate vinyasa, ashtanga, anasura and awareness all in one. Please come and enjoy!



Yoga for Schools and Clubs (Back to Top)

Kids yoga classes available for ages 2-200.

Yoga with children balances quiet and active poses with game playing, singing, storytelling, drawing, simple breath meditations and rest. Children can easily follow instructions by learning the names of different body parts, their locations and function. As children learn the names of the postures and movements they develop a yoga vocabulary and use their yoga poses to play games and take on the qualities of different animals. Yoga is for everyone!

Programs for schools: Find out how yoga can change the way your students act and feel. Yoga is known to reduce anxiety, depression and can be helpful to be kinder. It also helps ADD, ADHD, Aspergers and Autistic children. Approx. $120.00 a session.

Programs for Girl Guides and Scouts: What better way to earn your Bone Building Challenge, Chill out badge or equivelant than with yoga. We will come to you for a one hour session that includes breathing, practice, and relaxation techniques. Prenatal and Baby (Back to Top)

The Yoga Workout for New Moms or Dad's.
Stretch, Strengthen and Meditate with your Buddha Baby.
Space is limited. Only one child per adult. Please bring a pillow, blanket and a few of babies favourite toys.. and a yoga mat if you have one.

This class will help encourage baby's natural flexibility and growth, incorporate breathing and relaxation exercises and help women get back in to shape.

Wether you are new to yoga or an experienced student, whatever shape you are in, you are in the perfect place to do yoga.

Prenatal Yoga is also availalbe upon request. Wether a continuing or beginner yoga practitioner yoga is very availalbe to your changing body. Please call to book an appointment or schedule a class. If you have a number of friends going through this process I am more than willing to add a prenatl yoga class.
